I like the look, but they feel cheap. The handles are light, like plastic. But the worst part is the little handle that raises and lowers the drain stopper is to hard to grab, and it comes right off in my hand half the time. Since it is a special order faucet (plumbers grade - not stocked at big boxes), they don't cut corners. I did a lot of research and paying a little more for this faucet is well worth it. We almost bought a delta from Menards (Porter) at about 1/2 the price but found out that the drain assembly was plastic and it was lacking some of the other great features this faucet had. Also, if it breaks, you can get the parts needed to repair it rather than getting a whole new faucet. Keep in mind this is a high-end Delta model.The finish seems very durable and it definitely does not feel cheap compared to the many other faucets that are on the market today. The handle works like a dream and the water output is very good (something I was worried about with the water sense rating). I can't tell you what I will think after 10 years but as of this moment, I'm happy with my choice.Many companies have been bought and products cheapened but Delta has been owned by Masco for a while and that's a good sign. I think that Kohler is a good bet as well. When one gets into decent quality fixtures, names like Blanco or Grohe or Franke come up. They are well made but very expensive. |
