No hot/cold designation (which is what I needed). The part I do not like about the design is the stainless steel lines that come with it have a small "male" end to connect to a "female" on the faucet. Not really a problem unless you have to change them out for some reason, then it may be impossible to replace. Instructions: Very basic and for a different faucet. not rocket science, but I am removing a star for this Other: The inside of the faucet was filthy, and I have pulled the filter several times to clean it (I ran the sink without it when I first installed it, but I am still finding stuff in the filter) - there is still a bad/oily taste in the water... It is beautiful and exactly what I wanted. I love it!One of the supply lines was messed up when we got it and we could not hook it up, so I emailed the seller and they were extremely nice and appologetic and they shipped me a new one right away (got here within 2 days!). The only down side is that the instructions that came with it pretty much suck. Luckily we were able to figure out how to install it. I would absolutely do business with this seller again, and I would highly recommend this product to any one!! Success! Not only is this item half the price of the one I saw, but it's made almost entirely of metal. Real metal. Not just plastic painted to look like metal. This is a heavy, beautifully crafted faucet and well worth every penny. I wish I had shopped online before I bought my shower/tub hardware. I paid a lot more for plastic than I would have for metal.Once more, I am amazed and impressed by what can be found and purchased online at Amazon that exceeds my expectations! |
