I just put one in a new sink I had installed in my house. I had more of these at my previous home which I had built. I think the design is stylish--the sort of fluted spout and flattened handle. They have always worked great for me.One thing they all do, so be aware of it. (Maybe all similar faucets do it, I don't know) If the handle is not centered when you shut off the water, the water won't stop all the way, sometimes allowing quite a bit of flow. So maybe this would not be a good choice for an out-of-the-way location where it could run a long time before you noticed. I don't mean to say that you have to center the handle exactly when you shut off the water. Most of the time your natural motion will stop the flow. But I have a young daughter and maybe once every month or two I hear a funny sound, start looking around, and find the water running in the sink. My plumber said to pay the extra money and buy the model with all metal... Read more 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful Nice quality, easy install, excellent warranty, By This review is from: Delta Innovations 540-PB-DST Single Handle Centerset Lavatory Faucet, Polished Brass (Tools & Home Improvement) This faucet comes with a really nice polished brass finish (which is hard to find). We needed this finish to match the other fixtures in our bathroom. It comes with the supply hoses already attached. The faucet also comes with a little plastic tool to remove the aerator for cleaning. The only additional materials needed are silicon adhesive and some plumbers tape. Both of which you can get at any home improvement store. Only tools needed: adjustable wrench and channel pliers (or equivalent wide mouth pliers). It also comes with the matching drain plate/stopper.The faucet is backed by a great lifetime warranty. We had to use the lifetime warranty on another faucet. Even after several years, all that was needed was proof of purchase (be sure to file your receipt or invoice some place you will remember) and proof/documentation of the issue. It was a very painless process. Tremendous. |
