It look's good, but it has very poor water flow. The problem seems to be the water flow restriction cartridge, which restricts the water flow for economy purposes. I now have to raise my water pressure in the house, to see if I can correct the problem. If this doesn't take care of the problem, then I have a very expensive paper weight!After posting this review, I contacted Pegasus customer service. They sent me free replacement parts to correct the problem. Remember this was a new unit, out of the box. I have a whole house water filter system. The cartridge they sent me, was the exact same one I took out of it. It didn't correct the problem. I then replace the small seal, that was included with the repair package. Water flow was better. Looking at the small seal, I realized it was a water saver. The old water saver had some debris in it, which gave me the restricted water flow. I removed the restrictor completely, and the... The pop-up and tailpiece are plastic, but seem well made. The plastic may have less of a problem with corrosion build-up like brass pop-ups and tailpieces do. The handle is high, so when reaching to turn off water drips from hands onto faucet. Requires slightly more cleaning of water spots than a normal faucet. I do not notice this as much for side handle faucets or a shut-off that is longer such as on a kitchen faucet. Got it for a great price on Home Depot. They are no longer carried at my local store. The sink faucet handle fell off due to corrosion on the set-screw mount. The four-sided box lost one of its sides. I am still trying to locate a new handle. |
